MARK YOUR CALENDAR – COMMUNITY SHREDDING EVENT

FIRST ENGLISH LUTHERAN CHURCH PARKING LOT
First English Lutheran Church Endowment Board is going to help you either toss it or file it and help you with your purging of old documents that you may be or have been storing. We will be sponsoring a shredding event in our church parking lot on Wednesday, August 26, 2026. The time will be 10:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M., a three-hour event.
The number of boxes that a person can bring will be limited to seven (7) boxes or less. Here is your chance to shred all the paperwork or documents you are afraid to throw away for fear of it getting into the wrong hands. You may ask, “What is the cost?” Your cost will be a free-will donation to FELC for the Elevator Project.
At the July meeting, the Endowment Board discussed what would be an outreach project that would benefit our parishioners and community. Several parishioners have been asking about a Shredding Event and so the wheels started turning and after much discussion a shredding event was decided.
Come join us on August 26th by bringing your shredding to the truck. It will all be shredded on site. They will not be taking the boxes or shredding them, so perhaps you can watch your papers disappear and take your containers with you.
We will have further information as we proceed. This is a head’s up…start your cleaning and filling your boxes. We are helping you with your cleaning!!!
