Palm Sunday with Communion – April 2 – 9 am
Holy week begins with Palm Sunday on April 2nd. Our service is at 9:00 am and starts with a processional including palms. Sunday School children will also be singing for us during this service. We will also be having communion.
Maundy Thursday with Communion – April 6 – 7 pm
Our Maundy Thursday service starts at 7:00 pm. This evening our Lenten observance comes to an end, and we gather with Christians around the world to celebrate the Three Days of Jesus’ death and resurrection. We remember Christ’s last meal with his disciples, but the central focus is his commandment that we live out the promise embodied in this meal. As Jesus washed his disciples’ feet, so we are called to give and receive love in humble service to one another. Formed into a new body in Christ through this holy meal, we are transformed by the mercy we have received and carry it into the world. Departing worship in solemn silence, we anticipate the coming days.
Good Friday Cantata – April 7 – 7 pm
Our Good Friday service starts at 7:00 pm. Our Senior Choir and musicians are putting on a Cantata entitled: You are There – Jesus’ Last Days. We will be entering in silence and stripping the altar during this service.
