I believe this is a generous amount. Come as often as you can make it work into your schedule! Instrumentalists, you certainly may come whenever you want – especially if that helps you learn the music – but I anticipate it will take us a little time to learn the choir music before we need the full instrumentation. (It will likely be the last part of Oct./beginning Nov.)

CONTENT:
The format will be just a bit different this year. Rather than beginning the cantata after the intermission, the entire concert will flow as a cantata with a brief intermission. New pieces and familiar pieces will be woven into a heartfelt, dramatic experience for both the performers and the audience. We will end once again with “A Tribute of Carols” and “Silent Night.” I chose music that gives us great opportunities to utilize our talents, both individually and collectively, and you will find much of the music moves from dramatic, to contemplative, to light and fun and then joyous and uplifting.
