The Synod Assembly is at Gustavus Adolphus College from June 9th to the 10th. Please contact the church office to let someone know if you’d like to attend as a FELC delegate. Last year’s assembly had to be cancelled due to a lack of participation, hopefully this is not the case for this coming year.
Please note that there is a discount if we can register early as a congregation. We need to know before May 5th if you can make it in order to get that discount.

Assembly Highlights!
- Keynote Speaker: Matt Bloom, PhD, Director of the Wellbeing at Work Program. (wellbeing.nd.edu).
- ELCA Representative: Kevin Jacobson, Director for Global Personnel Service and Justice Home Area.

- Workshops – The assembly will kick off with workshops. Members will have the opportunity to attend two of the 15 workshops offered. Workshop titles and descriptions are coming soon.
- In person worship in Christ Chapel.
The Assembly will begin on Friday, June 9th at 11 am. and recess on Saturday, June 10th. early afternoon.
Building on the theme, “Embody the Word,” from the 2022 ELCA Churchwide Assembly, members in the Southwestern Minnesota Synod will gather at Gustavus Adolphus College in Saint Peter, MN.
