First English Lutheran Church is seeking 1 candidate to fill the position of Elementary Program Leader for the Youth of our congregation.
📍The Elementary Program Leader would work a flexible schedule of 3–8 hours per week. Would primarily be responsible for leading Kids Club on-site for 1st – 6th-grade students for approx. 2 hours on Wednesday after school, plus additional planning hours.
• We can offer minimal hours and use more administrative and volunteer support, or more hours with increased responsibilities and less support.
• Flexible planning hours can be done on-site or from home.
• Would be more hours during the school year, and less in the summer for both roles.
• Can earn up to $20/hr. for these part-time positions relative to responsibilities.
• We may consider changing the dates for these programs from Wednesday to another day if needed based on candidate availability.
Candidates must enjoy working with children and have a willingness to help guide students in their faith journey within the church. Board members and the Pastor would help support these positions along with family and other congregational volunteers.
