On May 4, 2023, join thousands of intercessors across our nation as we pray for America on National Day of Prayer.
This is the 72nd annual observance of the National Day of Prayer which began in 1952 by a joint act of Congress. In 1988 that law was amended, designating the National Day of Prayer as the first Thursday in May.
This year’s theme is “Pray Fervently in Righteousness,” and is based on James 5:16b (NKJV), “The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.”
Prayer is key to renewal in our nation. As we come together in unified prayer for America, we believe God is going to give rise to a nation of those who have understanding through peace, mercy through love, and patience through faithfulness. And we pray for a heart like God’s to be the change we wish to see in the world.
